My name is Kathryn. I'm 19 years old, and I've always longed to be in the world of acting and modeling. With my parents separating while I was young, I learned to adapt to new situations. I get along quite well with people, I'm easygoing, and I love to make people laugh. I've held many roles in community theater productions and hope to continue to do so in coming years. I play several instruments, but the flute and piano are my passions. I've held solos in music competitions, so I'm used to entertaining large numbers of people. I consider myself a bit of a music fanatic; whether the music is from a musical, a movie, or right off the radio. I am no longer in high school, so traveling for a part would be no problem and I will prove myself a great worker and dedicated actress. I definitely don't consider myself a typical model-type, but as everyone knows, normal people rarely are. I'm not adverse to changing my hairstyle or color for a job, but I do not want to become very skinny or unhealthy looking for a role. I like the way I look, and hopefully, you do too.
I'm not the type of person who is into partying, drugs, drinking, or breaking a lot of rules. On most Saturday nights, I can be found at home either singing rather loudly to the soundtrack from Wicked, or curled up with a nice book and a scented candle. I'm a very laid-back person, although when the occasion calls for it, I can be a very dramatic. I've held leadership positions while in school and at my job, but I don't play many sports, as they generally conflict with my music and theater commitments. I'm a very casual dresser, rarely driven from my jeans and t-shirts. I can dress very elegantly when appropriate, but I don't go over the top.
I know that the goals of most people on this site probably include hitting it big, and I'm no exception. Being an actress has always been my dream. I love to entertain, from telling a few jokes at a party to holding a role in my high school's fall play. I'd be thrilled to be considered for any large parts and would most definitely be willing to travel to attend auditions or castings. If offered a part on any popular television show or movie, I would definitely be willing to travel for for the duration of the part.
